My name is Bernadette Robertson Ransted known as Berniir.  I completed My creative practice degree in 2016 at Manchester Metropolitan University,

I graduated with Honours and was awarded a Manchester Metropolitan University prestigious alumni prize for my unique creativity and thinking out of the box.

Preferred materials are glass. I also enjoy working in collaboration with glass and paper.

I am inspired by colour, abstract shapes, narratives, stories, old nursery rhymes, I look at the hidden meanings. 

I creatively write narratives when responding to events in the world that make me think. Some of my narratives are really cheeky,  some funny and some very sad. I take my narrative and respond to them creatively through my art.
